I just wanted to check in here to let everyone know that it is best to look for content on Substack now: Here is the link to the first campaign Substack – Tamara’s SOAPbox.

Here is my new website: Bavendam4robco.combavendam4robco.com

While the chances that I unseat the incumbent are not GREAT, the Cook Report has moved this race from solid Red to lean Red – not sure based on what but it sounds good. There are so many parts of being a candidate that I am not good at, but I do really enjoy meeting the people and listening to their concerns. The ripple effect is building. I saw a woman yesterday at the ICE OUT protest who said she had gotten one of my postcards.

If enough people want CHANGE and show up to vote, I can win.

Baby B will be born via C-section on 8-19. Natalie and baby are doing well, although she is getting very uncomfortable carrying Baby B around. She is done with live performances and has 2 more Opry Live tapings to go before delivery.

This is Natalie performing nearly a month agohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jpcg8G_lvgM&list=RDJpcg8G_lvgM&start_radio=1

  1. Hi Tamara I guess I am really out of it. I got your note. Thanks. I guess I did not realize you were back in the political race, maybe you never left. Who is Baby B. I must have missed that blog. Thanks for the update. Mary Gannon

  2. Tamara is WAY too modest: “There are so many parts of being a candidate that I am not good at”. Nah, no way…She’s a natural: Totally focused, working her ass off, engaging with voters, campaign volunteers, networking with other state and local candidates, social media, canvassing almost every day, public speaking, acquiring endorsements, creating a dynamic organization and dedicated campaign staff with a totally comprehensive approach to all of it— and getting better at all of it every day! Runs me ragged just keeping up with her. You can feel good about jumping on board in any capacity. Remember our 80 year-old country preacher when I was a kid, “De Lawd LOVES a cheahful givuh!”
